So I broke out the back up machine and got her all oiled and ready to roll for the big sewing event on Saturday,
All set up and ready to begin! before the day was over I had 9 different people sewing pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer! It was awesome!
Right outside the church was the route for the elementary school fun color run/walk. So after that we had a couple of colorful sewing stop by!
So a toal of 26 pillowcases were sewn during the event plus we had a few more from folks who sewed at home.I displayed them all at church on Sunday morning and
we offered up prayers for all the recipients of the pillowcases. It was such a great time, but wouldn't it be great if we never had to sew another pillowcases for a kid with Cancer? Big AMEN there!
Now all I need to do is get them washed and dried and drop them off for the kids!
