I got a new lawn mower!
I've been working a lot of overtime, so I figured I'd splurge a little bit. This is so much safer mowing the hillside.
I got this battery powered push mower.
Look inside-there's almost nothing there!
I went up to Home Depot in Cedar Rapids and got it. It works really well. I wanted it to mow the steep hillside above the retaining wall.
And I also got a Chainsaw!!
It's a cute little 12" model and runs on the same battery as the lawn mower! It's fun to run it!
Bean and Dandrew came over with kids and we all took a turn making a little bit of sawdust.
I've been wanting to get the pile of wood burned, but ti's been pretty windy every time I have time to do it.
So just some cutting this time.
We had some hot dogs and beverages.
I just love it when my kids can all get together at the same time.
And there was this little gem!
Phew-it's a real sparkler! Very exciting time coming! I'm going with Dandrew, or maybe Dandew or Dandy. hmmmm.
