Iris went in to the vet to get spayed and when she came home she had a poodle haircut on her legs! The shaved her legs to put in IVs I guess.
Poor girl, still feels a little loopy, but she's doing fine!My dear cousin Robin, gave me a mission! Last weekend when I saw her, she gave me two baby gift quilts that she had not been able to finish. Well, bring it on, I'm a finisher! Here's the first one, It's a quilt that is the Very Hungry Caterpillar. I asked her how old is the child she originally started this for now? She said maybe around 12 years old! HAHAHAHA!!!
It's been crazy windy all week so I haven't been able to go outside and get it spray basted! Thursday was the day!
I got it up on the garage door and all stuck together. It looks pretty good.
That last border might be a little bit rippled....hmmm, I measured, but sometimes it just does what it wants to I guess.
And here it is all done! I used the same white caterpillar print for the binding and then when I was all done noticed there was red binding already cut! Darn it! Oh well it's staying white!!This turned out to be a good sized twin quilt. That one is done, now on to the next one!
