Halloween Finished

So, I got a cute kit from over at Blooming Prairie in Mt. Vernon, and it is this pattern. But I also have a small pile of Halloween fabrics and it's mid October.....

And I have this helper....

SO I got it all cut out and worked it out....

Got busy on Freddie and got it done in time to send home with DD to enjoy before the big day.

It was a little windy, but I went on! This one is about 63"X75", so a cuddle up on the couch size.
I free motion quilted this time-no computer here!
And I pieced the back with some more of the spooky prints I had on the shelf.

It's a good looking quilt I think! DD has a blanket ladder at her house in the living room and I think this Halloween quilt will look good there for the rest of the month anyways!
And the binding is good too! I'll be making the original kit from this pattern next.
Oh and here is the trick or treat crew...
Is he the cutest dragon ever?!

He was supposed to be spiderman, but he was not having that costume, so here's the cute dragon-the costume was a hand me down from one of DD's coworkers, and it's a really nice costume!
And the big kids are ready to go too!
Spiderman and the dragon-off they go! It's pretty cold and a little windy so the costumes are a good thing!
