Only in Iowa

You can do somethings anywhere, like see butter & cheese.
But only in Iowa can you see butter sculpted into Harry Potter(and Hedwig) & cheese handmade from local milk. It was a wonderful day trip (aside from a teensy little car issue-Thanks Dad & Mom!) and always worth the sweat to go to the state fair. BTW if you go look for Harry's glasses......on.....ummm...do you want to know where?

Harry is at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines & the beautiful scene is the Maytag Dairy Farm, home of the world famous Maytag blue cheese in Newton, Iowa. They have a very nice presentation for visitors, a video and short tour with an employee guide. Then you can get down to business and buy cheese. YUM!
