Cool Sewing Tip

So you know I made those napkins for my secret sister. Well I was so impressed with myself I thought I'd shre this simple little thing.

When I needed to sew a top stitching line around the edge of the napkins, it occurred to me to flip my needle position to the right,. I honestly don't think I have moved my needle position but maybe once or twice in my life. But look at this.

The foot can stay on the fabric and the needle sews closer to the edge. Before if I tried to get close to the edge, the foot would wobble and drop off the edge and the top stitching was crappy looking.
