My GIL came with me today to visit the New Bo Market in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. How have I neglected to visit this place for so long! It's kind of like a mall, only better.
Lots of unique food stores-cafes-booths-shops...kind of like the food court at the mall only better!
Gourmet Grilled Cheese....mmmmmmm
Hand made soaps and such.....mmmmmmmmm We bought fancy cupcakes and fresh baked bread...mmmmmmmmmm
The building is huge, the entire neighbor hood-the New Bohemia District and the Czech Village-were flooded in the giant flood of 2008, and this building was remodeled into the market, along with lots of small independent businesses in the neighborhood.
Santa was there and Sweet Jean told him her wishes!
