What a Cute idea!

So on Saturday my Pal Peg at Common Threads Quilt Shoppe
in North Liberty Iowa, showed this fun and easy idea to make a woven quilt.

See the pretty way this works? Just use 1 yard of flannel (or not) for the backing, add lightweight batting, and then cut your strips into 21/2" wide strips and weave away.

Here's Peg working on a baby sized woven quilt, she has it on her long arm, but this idea looks way easy enough to do on your home machine too!

Here's the one she finished earlier in the day. So cute. I bought my fabric and I've started cutting and weaving using Peg's suggestion to use the temporary spray adhesive to hold things in place. I'll show you later this week!
