SO first of all look how pretty the peonies are that I thought for sure were goners! YAY! for tough peonies!
SO it's that time opf year, time to burn the burn pile and enjoy the family outdoors! The mulberry trees are getting ripe-kids can't reach them very well thouogh!
SIL is a master at the grill-hamburgers and hot dogs are going to be wonderful!

SIL is such a Boy Scout-he builds a fire like no body's business!
It was such a nice evening-not too hot, not too cold, just right.
I don't think you can see the youngest dog in the picture-It's Beau-he's a miniature Aussie-doodle. Such a funny dog! Luckily, they all got along very well-even our nutty Sandy!
SIL kept the fire stirred up and pulled out some coals so we could roast marshmallows and make Smores. YUM!
Isn't this a fun picture? I loved having everyone over! Sometimes I think we should do this more than once a year, 6 dogs, 5 kids, smores- but then again.......
