We got a little bit of snow on the 30th, so I cranked up the blower and tried to remember how to run this beast! We just got it last year and I think I used it only once, so I needed a refresher-they are predicting snow a big snow storm for New Years eve...I'm ready!
And I've started the annual Bonnie K. Hunter Mystery Quilt. Here's the Link Rhodedenren Trail . She always starts the mystery quilt along on Black Friday and it will go along until it's done. This year it's called Rhododendron Trail. I didn't follow her color suggestions. I switched gray for the pink, and blue for the burgundy color and red for the yellow. Here's the block that completes in clue 6.
It looks pretty good. I ran out of the grey grunge fabric I started with, and used all the solid Kona grey I had too, so I ordered some more of the grunge, I hope it gets here soon! I don't think the mystery is through with the pinks yet! And there are about a zillion hourglass blocks to use yet too. And gobs of those flying geese blocks too. I think we'll have a few more clues before the end!
