Winners!

Look here! We won some money in the Super Bowl Pool at the legion. What a nice surprise. Hubs did a good job getting us in the pool!
Now I'm finishing up this cute baby quilt the pattern is called Peach Cobbler, it's from Sew Yeah Quilting. Here's a Link to Sew Yeah.
I had some fleece for the backing so I loaded it up on Freddie the long arm. I had good success with this pattern-it's called squares I think.
It sewed up in 3 zones and I must have done something right because it made the top and bottom edges correctly!!! YAY!!!!
Here it is all ready to hit the washer for a rinse and spin.
The gray plaid fleece on the back is nice and soft-you can see the stitching a little better.
I usually run finished quilts through the rinse and spin cycle in cold water. It lets me see if there are any places I might have messed up. And I can clip off any threads that didn't get washed in.

It's something like 3 degrees here today, but I wanted daylight pictures so I sucked it up and took quick pictures out doors on the deck line.
Nice binding! I think this will be a good baby boy quilt-the gray plaid makes me think boy I guess. The jungle animals are so cute, I got this fabric at a sample sale over at Heritage Quilting  in Amana a while back. The orange border fabric was in my stash-no idea where I got it!

That shadow in the middle is annoying, but it's too cold to fuss around getting a better angle!
