Sunday Church Visit

SO my church got a new Pastor recently and  Pastor Diane was appointed to a new church, Asbury United Methodist Church located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I picked up my old friend Loretta and off we went to visit her.

 Asbury is a much larger church than our little church in Oxford. It is also a lot newer-maybe 60 years old or so. This is the front of the sanctuary. They have a lovely choir, and their accompanist is awesome.

This is the window at the back of the sanctuary. Isn't it lovely! The church also has quite a bit of room for classrooms and meeting rooms. It is always nice to visit another church to see how they do things.
