So DD and her Godson were here "helping" a while before Christmas.

Craft Show with DDaughter...

SO I love the iron stuff that is always at the craft shows. Lookie at this cute old sewing machine-It would go out in my prairie for sure!

So I'm a HUGE fan of the painted barn boards and such from these folks. I LOVE the Santa board.

Aren't these melted snowpeople cute-It's just some batting with a little head tied off with a scarf and face, cute cute cute!!

I had to note that the bag holders were everywhere-I made a few for the church bazaar coming up-we'll see if they sell.

These bracelets are made from scrabble tiles and the folks who were selling them are Square Wear

So DD needed another card. This one came out cute I think!

Then I got a coupon for an 8X10 collage print and set it up to mail to SIL.

Busy Weekend-Banner Day Though!

So I got one of the pair of banners I have planned for Church done. Looks pretty good...except

See that letter a? I got the longest word on nice & straight but I can't handle a single letter...go figure huh.

I should take pictures of the process sometime. I get a little better each time I make one. Now off to finish the rest of this pair!

The BEST Bridesmaid Ever!

I have to say, my daughter has the BEST bridesmaid in the world! Her pal Val just made her shower so special! Here's Val in the kitchen ready for guests to arrive. (Isn't she gorgeous!?)


She was a wonderful hostess and everyone had fun! Here are the Grandmas & Dannies' Great Aunt playing Dannie Trivia. Can you see the CUTE table centerpiece? It's one of a set of kitchen canisters that Val stuffed with little kitchen gadgets, she did a different one for each table!
















I'm glad this event is over, now it's on to altering the bride's dress & worrying over the weather!

How to know when to go to Dannie's wedding

First you have your favorite scrapbook store cut about 100 little die cuts of bride & groom names. That would be after you try to find enough paper in the same color.

Then you print about a hundred blue cards with the information and stick a nice 1/4" brown stripe on each and every one of those cards.......

Then fold about a hundred brown card slide covers and tie about a hundred blue bow knots........
Then stick on the die cut names about a hundred times and slide it all together.

Long Time No See

I've no excuse, just haven't taken the time to post. I've been reading a lot of other blogs, some show stuff they've made others talk about their kids, some make political statements, I think I really like the ones that show me something cool they made and those that share what they are doing on any given day. So today I'm showing these cute little box covers.
It's graduate recognition Sunday at my church and we have 2 young ladies to congratulate. They are getting these sweet little bracelets with a Bible verse on them. So I had to pretty up the boxes. Cute I think!

Christmas Time makes me crafty

It never fails, Christmas comes along and I think of a zillion little craft ideas. Thankfully my church has a bazaar every year so I can release some crafty Christmas energy there. I made these cute little Hershey's kisses treats after seeing the idea at www.splitcoaststampers.com. They're WAAAAYYY crafty over there. These little candy treats sold out right away at the bazaar, They'd be a nice little office/co-worker/neighbor treat. Merry Christmas!
