I've been working on this little cutie.
I saw a pattern on Pinterest that used a tree fabric with houses, and thought it was a great idea, especially since I've had this bit of Michael Miller tree fabric for a really long time.
I like the way it's comignm along.
There was the I-80 One Stop Shop a week ago, so DD and I loaded up and went out there.
She really liked these hero fabrics.
And such a cute quilt too!
And such a cutie holding the quilt too!
Lots to see at the sale.
I really liked this fabric line.
And of course the Nolting folks were there. Not quite ready to pull the trigger on that big of a purchase just yet. But it's fun to look and test drive new cars...ereeerr, I mean long arm machines.

The I-80 Shop Hop
I stopped out at the Clarion Hotel to visit the I-80 Shop hop. There is always a nice selection of shops with lots of pretty things to see.
The weather was really nice, and they had a pretty good turn out it seemed like to me anyways.
I saw this fish panel in the photo below...but the shop was sold out. The person told me she wished she had brought more of them!
I like this bight star quilt!
I bought a panel for Easter-I better get busy! Easter is coming right up

I-80 Quilt Mart
So on Sunday I popped over to the local Clarion Inn where they were hosting the I-80 Quilt Mart.
There were about 15-20 vendors from the area all set up with really beautiful quilts, pre cuts and tools to inspire!
Lots of pretty quilts!
Look at this applique wall hanging, the words just bloom are sewn completely over with giant zig zag-I love that idea!!
There was quite a good crowd there, I'm not very up to date with the quilting trends, but I think these folks are!
I loved this lightening bug quilt! So clever!
Next stop the library! I can't be out of books!
