Spring Clean Up Part 1

Hopefully we won't have any more snow, so I went ahead and rolled up the Heat trak mats. I saved the boxes they came in so packed them in two of the boxes for next year. 

Then I took my new power tool on a little test! Boy does this little guy blow! Cleared off the ramp and some of the residual leaves from alongside the house-it's a little windy today, so not the best day for it!

The violets are popping up in the yard, and the dandelions too. I'll have to get the lawn mower ready next week I guess.

The peony plant is coming up well, it didn't bloom last year but I hope it will this year.

And the rhubarb is coming on strong too!

The tulips in the front yard that the grands planted are coming along. I though the squirrels ate all the bulbs, but there are a few left. And the Lilac bush is coming around. She was almost displaced last summer, but here she is!

There should be a lot more daffodils, but I think the squirrels got most of them. 

We'll see if we get a few more this year!

Dylan In The Springtime

 So I haven't posted in awhile. I've been getting my steps in though!

This little guy has kept me hopping! Yes, he's standing on the window sill, 

Yes, he's inside the new refrigerator

Yes, he looks very innocent....but then he drops that cup of water.....

And then he helps Ringo lap it up off the floor.

Yes, he loves Iris

But Iris isn't too crazy about him.

Her extra toes come in handy getting hooked.

Yes it's spring time weather!

Swinging is always a good idea!

And yes, he likes the owl on the deck.

And yes, I think we need to get a sand box. He's playing in the sand bags that are holding the stand for the umbrella on the patio. 

The tulips and daffodils will be blooming in a day or so too!
