Hockey & Interstellar Cave Dweller

So it was time to go to the Roughriders hockey game a couple of weeks ago- time flies by so fast! DD was too sick to come so it was just Bean and me this year! ( you know Ben+Jean =Bean)

 It was superhero night so Lovely Jean and I had to get our picture taken!

 We had a great time t the game-those little girls behind us were adorable! They clapped hands in time to the music, and screamed and danced when they were supposed to and finally they got to be on the giant TV!

 We had kind of crappy seats this time-I know, I shouldn't complain since my employer gives us free tickets!

 Anyways, afterward we popped over to the Sundown Bar & Grill in Williamsberg to see our favorite local band-Interstellar Cave-dweller.

 They had a really good crowd, and they played really well-I have to admit, I haven't shut down a bar in quite a while, but the band was good and I was the DD.

 Saturday night was Roughriders Hockey Night!

 SOme people text throughout the game!!

We had such fun!

 Lots of cow bells going on as the roughrider win!! 4-0!!!!

 And see I can PARK! Rock Star parking! It was soooo cold!!!! And see those kids on the hill to  the left of the picture-sliding on the ice like it was summer!! Kids!!

At The RoughRiders Stable

Well we had a great time last night at the RoughRiders Hockey game up in Cedar Rapids. They lost but still...when the Lucky Charms Zamboni comes by, all is well!

 SIL John and Girlfriend-in-law Jean and DD were my company for the night. We had many laughs.

 The hockey was good...losers though, but still good.

 ``There is never too much cowbell!

 And then this morning ...more snow. Deep sigh, I think I'll take a nap.....

Hockey Time!

For the last couple of years, my employer, P&G, (PGEmp) has arranged for employees to go to the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders hockey game. It is a lot of fun.

We had kinda god/kinda bad seats this year, 4th row=good and at the goal end=not so good. But Uber Son and girlfriend-in-law and DD and her co worker pal and me all had fun anyways.

 DD and her pal Amy, yes that's a horse..Ricochet! Aren't they just the cutest?!

 Oh I see, In the mouth around the gums look out liver here it comes! Careful there-I think that's one of your patients over there...LOL!

 It was pretty much a full house so we were pretty cozy in our seats. Ben & Jean were tucked in the middle of the row-hard to get a decent photo!
Fun was had by all and best of all the Rough riders won in OT 2-1! YAY!!

Oh H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!

So, my employer, P&G, offered up free tickets to go see the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders on Saturday night. So I packed up the kids and off we went!

We were in the 4th row, so when the fellas slammed into the wall.....BAM!

We had fun! We may just have to splurge and go again sometime. Between periods they did funny games...

like the human slingshot, they stretched bungee cords across the ice and a guy on a sled was flung down the ice into giant bowling pins! It was sooo funny to see!
