YIKES!

 

I saw this giant thing in the Hy Vee this morning-it kinda scared me! It says it's a Jackfruit. I have never heard of it or seen one before. It is creepy looking and it is huge. Like the size of a watermelon!

 According to Wikipedia it's delicious, fruity, and nutritious. OK, but it is creepy looking.

So I guess I just don't get out much or something. A little while back I noticed that Hy Vee had this foreign guy selling food for them.  That woud be "hwhy vee" according to this guy.So I went o the authority on all that I don't know and Google told me that Chef Curtis Stone is pretty famous, and a celebrity because he cooked on the Biggest Loser television show and also was on Celebrity Apprentice and Some cooking show on Bravo TV.

Well Good for you Curtis. 

Wonder if the Hy Vee Guys are planning to raise prices even more to pay for Curtis and his Australian accent saying "toe-mah-toe"?

I think I'd rather have an Iowa farm wife say tomato and keep me in the reality of now instead of the TV reality.
