American Idol...Surprise!

OK I gotta say I called it on 2 out of 3 of the bottom 3. But really? Casey? No Way!! I was really glad the judges saved him and really glad to hear that all 11 will be going on the summer tour. YAY! for the Idol folks who decided that! 

I think James Durbin was really thrilled! maybe just a little? Loved all the surprises on the results show. It will be sad to see two people go next week.

Steven Tyler, American Idol....

OK I have to tell ya, I LOVE Steven Tyler as a judge on Idol. He is sooo nice, but not in an insincere way. And I always like to hear his funny way with words.  

And he's got a book coming out soon-gee is that about the time Idol gets wrapped up.?
 Does The Noise In My Head Bother You? is set for release in May 2011.

So Tonight the contestants sang a song from their personal "Idols". They all did a very good job. It's anybody's guess what America's voting will turn out to be. I liked all of them but I think maybe since somebody has to go it will maybe be, Thia or Haley or maybe Paul. I thought they all did very well, but it didn't seem to me like they had the audience appeal.

Well once again, I sure can't choose Idols well! I think most of the guys did very well last night, we'll see how the ladies do tonight!

So  you already know I'm a FAN, ANd I gotta say I LOVE Steven Tyler & Jennifer Lopez teaming up with good Ol' Randy & Ryan!

I thought Steven Tyler was a crazy choice when I 1st heard it. But WOW he's really a kind judge and seems to like the job! It's really fun to watch him and his funny, slightly colorful comments.   FOX bleeped out his reply about his little top hat-"you know what a little hat's good for? It's good for a little head!"

I also enjoy when he gets into the music, drumming on the desk, singing harmony,and looking absolutely dreamy at some of the better singers. I think he probably had a little "work" done because his face looks great. Obviously he's ready to take the public by storm and be accepted as a respected judge. Yay for Steven Tyler!
