WOW!

I haven't seen this for awhile. When I got gas at the Costco on Friday they were under three dollars! YAY!

I have Gas Issues, OK just issues...

So I had to get some gas...Look at that! Jimmimny Christmas! Really?? 3.73 per gallon???
I had to get some gas because I had a worker who wanted to use her FIL's roto tiller

I had to work on said roto tiller......and got it started, only to have my worker kill it.

But she cleaned her Pa's windows so he is happy.
We went to the Mall on Friday_Nook Pick Up Day I like to call it... anyways, my dd wanted to look at sandals, flip flops, actually.

 cute , little sandals...wait a minute.....that can't be right can it? 34.99? What!??????

 26.99...seriously/

 Ohhh well gee these are made from a REAL yoga mat....I think you can get two WHOLE REAL yoga mats for 29.99

 Ohh these are cute too...wait for it...oh yeah they are made of PAPER...no wonder they cost FORTY NINE DOLLARS!!!! Gee that's an expensive newspaper.

  Ohhh Rainbow Eco sandals...sure 40 bucks will get you some TAN rainbows I guess.....REALLY!!!
 I just am astounded! People listen UP These are FLIP FLOPS-they only cost 23 cents to make!!!!

What A Day!

I needed to get some gas, I should have stopped when I got off work this morning....OUCH! Look at that!3.75 I think it was only 3.69 this morning. Darn it! Just my luck isn't it!

So then I popped in to Theisen's to get the dogs favorite treat

They're made in Independence Iowa and Mitch & Sandy LOVE them.

Look Theisen's has chicks! Sooo cute, little brownish ones, and little yellow ones, awwww!

 

Then I stopped at my library-I LOVE the library, the way Mitch and Sandy love True Chews. And guess WHAT!!????

I won the drawing for the W.A.R.M. winter reading program!! I'm am soooo thrilled! I have been trying to talk myself into a Nook reader and couldn't quite justify it, but I WON ONE!!!

I can hardly wait to get it going! So this day wasn't so bad after all!!!!

Deep Sigh... Whatcha Gonna Do?

I don't know what it's like in your neighborhood, but it's getting crazy with these gas prices! Two weeks ago I was pretty shocked to see 3.33 a gallon. Ouch!!!

But it just keeps getting worse and worse. 3.65 today. I'm in pain. You too I bet! Course it's snowing today too. And it wasn't 2 weeks ago, so go figure.
