Now I have Time for this Wreath

I saw this cute wreath, here   Sandy's Space,  and wanted to try it out, I can do origami, bet ya didn't know that!  So to the book I went! Yes, good old book! Cut out the 6" squares and went to town.

Looks pretty good. Now that I know how I can make some next Christmas...maybe even out of regular paper!LOL!

It's a nice 3D effect I think. I also think if you folded it without the valley, it would lay flat for mailing!

Iowa Ornamanet-Upcycled Atlas

SO I was wanting to use my new Slice card that makes all the states. I thought about a pin or stationary, then thought of an ornament. 

I used the pages from our old atlas-I know who keeps old atlases? Yeah well I do.

I cut a tiny little piece of overhead projector plastic long enough to hold the state suspended. 

Rolled it all up and used tweezers to unroll it and smooth it out inside the ornament. I punched out some snow for the bottom-maybe there should be a little bit more....hmmm.

Pretty darn cute I say! Let's see if they sell at the church bazaar.
