Courtside With Clark part 2

 So, I'm on my continuing quest to use up my fabric-or at least move to a manageable level. SO Here's the last of the Courtside With Clark fabric that I got awhile back. You may remember, that I have made one with this fabric before. Here.

I used a loopy quilting design and it went along really well!

Here's the porch pictures. As always lately, it was windy!

This was a 3yard quilt pattern, doubled to make it twin size. Here's a link to the Fabric Cafe Book.

And the back side used up every bit of the Caitlyn fabric as well as the solid yellow and the word print.

I had just enough of the stripe to do the binding.

You have to look at the other print fabric. I just love the grey print of crowds of people!

Isn't it cool! It's a Moda Line of fabric called Flea Market Moxie. 

And in really big news.....

I gave away the last few diapers!! Dilly is pretty reliably potty trained!!

He snuggled with grampa, 

And we've had such nice weather we went to the park and played!

Playground Weather

 The first week of January brought some unseasonably warm weather around 50degrees! So we made the most of a couple days and hit the playgrounds.

This is one of my favorite playgrounds, it's just a few blocks from Aunt Jean and Uncle ben's house and is great because it has the padded playground surface. It's like rubber padding, and so it's never muddy and you never have sand or pebbles or wood chips in your shoes.

See the nice surface, when you walk on it, it's like walking on puffy slippers!

He's so cute! Love that dimple smile!

Two days of play! WOW!

This is Kent Park, which is closer to home, but it has the wood chips. Still an excellent playground. 

Snowpants are a must at any winter playground, not only because it's chilly, but the slides always have dew or melted snow on them!

Nice to look back on these days since tomorrow the high is supposed to be 3 degrees.

Dilly's Birthday and A Little Hop

 

LAST MONTH! Where the heck did the time go?? Dilly ha da great birthday party at Kent Park. 

Lots of kids to play with!

And his Mommy's favorite friends too!

Such a hot day too! But fun was had by all!

Penny and Frankie are helping with the gifts-such cutie pies!

Look at those cute baseball Crocs he got from mike & Lieshia! So CUTE!

His birthday shirt was too cute too!

Sweet Susan tried her best to get him to blow out the candle! He was not having it!

SO that was a great day! I loaded hubs up for a quick Poker Run- Quilt Shop Hop Style!

 Shop Hop was fun, just a short day of driving and lots of new shops to me! The Lucky 

Here's the hand I ended up with. Not too bad. I ended up winning a 

$30 gift card, so YAY!

And here's the haul from shopping! I better get busy sewing.
