See I have my fancy schmancy iron-auto temp, auto shut off- for serious stuff, and then I have my little ol' reliable one on, hi, or max temp controls. 
And it uses heat and bond or wonder under or what ever you wanna call it, so I don't use my "good" iron, just in case I make a little booboo and get iron on stuff on the sole plate...what a mess.

Irons
So do you have more than one iron? Wait, do you even have one iron?
