Deep Sigh

 So it's that tie of year... Taxes.....oh Turbo Tax I love you, but, dang it's time consuming!

Hubs wanted new seat covers for his car, but they came with one of them with no clips on it! I emailed the company, and asked them to send the ends that were not here and they did! I sewed them in place and the seat covers are great! But c'mon! Quality Control anyone??

This guy was helping me sew...yes, he's laying on the cutting mat writing in a notebook. 

So Much to DO!

 

This is what's on Freddie right now.  It's the Old Town quilt from this years Bonnie K Hunter mystery quilt. 

I'm using a new to me design on it. I like it a lot. I've been struggling with alignment, so we'll see how this goes!

2nd area and we're OK so far! 

I got the taxes completed too! Turbo tax says I did a great job only 2 hours and 37 minutes! There's time I'll never get back....phew!!!! But the good news is I get enough back on the state taxes to pay the $200 that I owe on federal taxes-YAY!

Look at this cool latch I got for Bob's room. I have been tying this door closed with some string for years! I tie it just open enough so the cats can get in to eat their food, but Ringo cant get in to eat their food.  But most importantly, the toddler terrorist has learned to untie the string and get in the non child proof room! One Sure Thing....

So we got our Income TAX return back just in time, and just enough, to pay the property taxes.

I don't think I'm the only one who hates paying taxes. And while I was at our local County office building, I noticed this on the door. No firearms allowed...huh, really? Ever think about why the county office would even think about folks coming in with a gun? There's no sign like this on the door to the fabric store, not on the grocery store, Well quit robbing me & calling it taxes and maybe the gun issue wouldn't be a problem.

Tax Time

I think I have a paper cut from shuffling paper around to get ready for Tax time!

 But TA DA ! It's all bundled up and ready to visit our tax guy Edward. I'd do it myself, but we have a 1099LTC and it's not supported on any on line forms that I tried. So for the last few years Edward has been our guy.

 Poor shredder, it's packed full...yes I keep more paper than I need to I guess. But by golly, I got the things I need! Happy day, now for some do nothing time!!YAY for Friday!
