Glasses Drama

So I got a new prescription for glasses and I really am having sticker shock at how much it costs to get new glasses!!! REALLY? Help me to understand how a little glob of plastic can cost $300!!!!!!!!

So I started looking on line and look at all the cute glasses!! Now I gotta figure out how big they are...mm, cm, huh? and mostly around $100..now that's better!
