Tough Love in the Yard

SO the tilling was done a couple of weeks ago, by my dear SIL. Now DD has been planting flowers as hubs brings them home.

But this pretty peony plant came from my Mom. At least I think it did. It wasn't doing so well when I got it so I got it a friend and then, well, it's tough love in the yard at my house, so I'm not sure which part is which. 

But see this early bloom? I'm pretty sure it's the original, because it's a bit brighter and it's way early compared to the rest. I can't wait for all the little buds to bloom-sooo pretty!!
