Another Quilt To Go

I got this cute charm pack while I was at Home Ec in Iowa City.  I needed two, so lucky for me DD was in town and picked up the 2nd one for me!

I like the colors in this fabric line. 

I backed the finished quilt in this bright floral print.

Here it is on the garage door , ready to go.

I added the end borders, the quilt pattern makes it square, but I wanted to use a few of the scraps and to make it rectangular. 

It was way too cold to spray baste outside, so I struggled to get the sandwich together indoors. 

But ti turned out really prertty. I'm sending thisd one off to my Sister-in-law in CA. 

She was so nice to send me some slippers and jewelry to DD. 

SO it's a good reason to send a quilt in thanks! 

Now I'm on to the next project!
