So this has been my reliable old friend for many years! I've had this washer for over 15 years, the dryer a little bit les-maybe 10 years. My Kenmore appliances from Sears have been great, I've had to make a few small repairs, a switch , a belt, nothing to awful, but the belt is going again in the dryer-bits of it are sticking out in the drum. SO I went shopping. At Sears/K-Mart on line. We don't have a physical store near us-they do still exist I hear.
SO I shopped on line (actually at Kmart.com) and found a set that looks like it will fit the space (yes, I measured) and has everything I want. I ordered it and scheduled delivery on line-I am confident it will be great!
The washer is the kind with no agitator, and it senses the correct water level to put in just enough water to wash whatever size load it has. I can watch it though the lid too! The dryer has a sensor too and it dries so fast compared to my old dryer. And it's huge-with a light inside!
The only thing that was kind of annoying was that I ordered the take away of the old appliances, and they didn't take them the same day. The old appliance pick up wasn't until a week later. Same guys, same truck came back and got them though-kind of annoying. I hope this new Kenmore set will last as long as the old one did!
