SO around Christmas time Lovely Jean asked for a mixer cover for their Kitchenaid mixer. I told her sure, but it would be after Christmas. So I got busy! I quilted the fabrics together with the curvy zig zaggy stitch. I used the print that I'm using on the inside as lines for stitching.
Click this blue link to get the pattern! Sew Can She always has nice tutorials, and she had this pattern for FREE! I've never made a mixer cover, so this was something different! The directions are nice and easy to follow.
I used this fabric with Bees on it-they like Bees and some nice striped for the inside and the pockets.
I got these dandy little clips for Christmas-Thanks Kevin! They are just right for holding the curved top in place, and sewing it.

I like the way it come out, I think I'll make one for ours!
It's a good day to stay home and sew with weather like this!
