The Blue Churn Dash Quilt


Well after all the drama with this vintage quilt top, I just took the best of the blue churn dash blocks and made one quilt. 
I chose a simple design for the quilting design, clovers. 
And wouldn't you know it, I look away for one second, and the foot gets caught on a block! I'll have to fix it later, I guess.
It really came out nice! 
These are some of the blocks that I didn't use.
I posted them on line and sold them for $20. Who would have guessed. 


The finished quilt looks good! 
I kept the original sashing, but added a new border on the outer edge. 

And then I used some of the other odd blocks on the back. 
I think the pieced backing seems appropriate. 

It's a good finish!
