I wanted to use up this cute dog Christmas fabric. It's been calling my name for a while.
I think it will be a nice gift, come December.
I used the Helios pattern from A OK designs called Eclipse. Here's a
Link.But I sewed the blocks so all the dogs would be right side up so the pattern is a little bit different than the original.
So at least the dogs are all right side up! I also added a different border to get a little bit larger size.
And here it is out on the deck.
I pieced the back using some different fabric, that I wish I had thought to use instead of the aqua, but it still looks fine!
I also didn't think clearly how to make the corner stones so they would be opposites in the corners.
I just made all four the same-hey, I was just winging it at this point.
Still it feels nice and cozy, ready for gifting, come Christmas!
